Well I guess this is better time than any to mention this. For the most part some stuff that I want ironed out is and nothing else to wait on; for now. I was going to wait for the tourney in Aug but this is also a good thing to get the word out for those who are interested and let the impact do a snowball effect to Absecon.

Here’s a short history of what been bubbling: Laughinghyena, ProjectJustice, Atrocity_DC , Sloph Morph, Elrik40k, Systemmatic123, and o Rico Suave o we have gather together to present to you an idea and as we speak the gears are turning of making this into a reality.

Guys I present to you: Dominion Method Gaming.

We are trying to do something that deals around the same idea as of EMP of gathering players from various games, compete for stats and prizes at tourneys and overall start a group with the same goals that can be accomplished. This is simple concept that can happen with the right connections and with the right people.

This is meant for true gamers who can excel of they do and what game they play.

You have Sloph Morph he has won countless Halo 2, 3 tourneys. His team on GB, has won the Ball Park title. He no slouch in Street Fighter 4 either and he came in second at the MLG Meadowlands challenge under Justin Wong and went undefeated in the Spring GB ladders. Not to mention that he went all the way to the 3rd round in SF4 Gs tourney as well.

You have ProjectJustice one of the most underrated SF4 or any other fighter that I know of. He went all the way to the 3rd round the SF4 GS tourney and have won or placed high in other local tourneys.

You have Laughinghyena is one of most charismatic, passionate player around and people see that. He won or placed high in numerous tourneys and there’s no stop to his drive. He went all the way to the 3rd round the SF4 GS tourney and that’s just the beginning for this player.

You have Elrick40k who was a sponsored, pro CounterStrike player and have played in a couple of well known clans throughout the US. He is very beastly Gears and COD player that is not known very well; but he will be!

You have SystemMatic who is the man when it come to COD. How much of the man he is; well he is ranked 6th in the world in COD. How about them apples huh? He also holds his own in Gears and Halo 3 that only a tidbit of his very impressive resume. Can we say Godly?

You have Atrocity_DC who himself is Semi-Pro in Gears and his skills in fighters is top notch. This is someone you need to keep an eye out in future events because you might miss his raise to stardom.

You have o Rico Suave o and he by far the best Abel player I have ever encountered and there will be people who will agree with me and they have no choice but to. He is one to be reckoning with and I cannot wait till he unleashes his fury in the future.

Here we are; DMG.

This is very exciting time for me personally because I have always wanted to do something like this but never had the resources to do so. Now the time is ripe and its time to make an impact.

We are a small group but this is just the beginning. I am still process of talking to some companies for endorsements, sponsorship and deals to help us and future members in the future. At the moment I have my eye for other players so I will reaching out to them very soon and give them a chance to join this so far; elite group.

There’s no room for error, doubt, if you cannot commit to your goals within DMG, then not only you be wasting your time; you be wasting ours.

This is open for any type of gaming. As of now we are concentrating on console gaming but soon we will branch onto PC gaming.

There are some waves already made with some small companies and I am waiting for the green light from them and make sure everything is solid before anything is mention.

Right now there are no other spots open because I want to take what we have now (current roster) and grow on it. In the future there will be spots for people who when the time when those who would like enlist will take DMG serious and not just a group of playing hoping to get somewhere. The difference between them and us; we are serious about it not just talking about it.

This is the big news and the first stop is at Dream’s tourney in Absecon NJ. DMG is here and we are for real.

Big things are happening. Well it depends on big. Well I am in the process of building the sticks. At the moment I am in talks with Progamertraining and Gootecks of building and designing them. I am very pumped about this. Ive always wanted to build sticks in a way I am able to give back to the SF commuinty. So as of this Sat. the fun will begin.

I already have a couple of orders coming through and thanks guys for intrusting me of building your sticks. I wont let you down and you like what you will get.

In talk with Progamertraining as well for sponoring the up coming "Who Got Next" tourney that is happening later on this summer. The idea is from Dream, a well known SF4 player who throws Xboxlive tourneys. He is trying to take it to the next level and hopefully make this as big as some of the other tourneys that are being thrown this summer. We may have a place, we have the systems and games and we will have the players.

Hey peoplez!

Well I am here wondering what will be my step (as soon as the move situation fizzles out) and trying to figure out in which direction I should direct my energy to. I have numerous ideas that are just stuck in my head and slowly putting down on paper and trying to figure things out. I was gonna make an announcement on the forums but at the same time I don’t want to be spurred because two of them has to do with gaining profit. So I am making the announcement on my blog (and hopefully that will be safe enough)

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1 – Getting into the swing of things with SF4 –

Since the move I am without a TV and was planning to buy a new by the end of June but since I am moving again and back to my old place again lol I will have a TV again. So I will be back on the saddle when it comes to playing for the tops spots. This time around things will be different; why you asked? At long last peoples I was able to find the one thing that will bring my skills to the next level; A STICK! I was able to discover one in the depths of a Gamestop in New York. I called them up and asked them to ship it to the Gamestop near me and voila, The Hyena has a stick. Hehehe. The couple of times I was playing with Mod and Justin I know that some of the things I wanted to do and couldn’t do because I didn’t have a stick.

The part I am excited most is that I can teach myself the basics again and really get my style down pack and improve on it. I have been taking crazy notes and saving even more vids of how to improve my gameplay. Now the mood has change and a new era will being. I CANNOT WAIT!

I want to thank Poem who was willing to get a stick for me (Hori) but the move just tapped out my pockets to pick one of those up. Once again Poem thanks dude.

2 – Gamebattles Staff Member -

Many of you already know (poll and all) that I have been trying to get a position as a site or forum Admin for a while now. For the simple reason why I want to become one is because I want to help out my fellow SFaints as much as I can. Even though I do that now without a title but with so little backing from the GB staff and the lack of power I can’t TRULY do what I want to do. I have soooooo many ideas that will help GB to become a bigger community and I want to make the SF community that I love better. Our community that I am a small part of is by far the BEST community that anyone can be part of. I just here waiting on the final word and see what will come out of this.

I want to thank Riyo, CombatQueen, GBColdblooded and Jsmoove27 for the support that they showed of helping me getting a position in GB. I truly hope that I can be part of the GB family.

3 – T-Shirt Designs –

I am taking a page out of Prof Rouse playbook (thanks for the inspiration dude) and I am designing SF4 (only) T-shirts. Since Im into the graphic thing (BA in graphic designs and side note* I think way too much lol) I just want to get something started that will benefit the community as a whole and as an entity.

So be sure and stop by and let me know what you guys think. Any feedback will be most greatly appreciated.

4 – Custom Sticks –

I always wanted to know what went into making one of these. So asking around, looking up information, checking out youtube vids, and really wrapping my head around this idea; I have decided that I will be making sticks. I mentioned before if I knew how to make a stick that I would make one and offer that as a prize for a tourney I would throw.

I already have two ideas in mind; one is gonna be a simple stick design and second one is going to be the stick of all sticks. You see what I mean when I get the woodwork done on it.

5 – Tournaments Journey -

I really excited about this one. This is the time that I will get into back of the tourney scene and become engulf with the SF competition. My goal is to go to the top echelon (and I know I can make it) I have the desire, the passion, the will and the drive to make it. Also I want to go back to EVO and I would like that to be my final stop on my journey. I hope that EVO won’t be the end of all of it but it will be a nice goal for me to accomplish.

I know what it takes to start this journey and I know how time consuming, energy draining and major sacrificing it will be. However I’ve done it before and now that I am older, I know I can do it again but smarter.

August 23 is the first stop to of my journey. There’s going to a Summer Battle Jam type tourney going on in Philly. So those who can make it Ill see you there and I look forward to meet up with some other great players.


I want to thank all the great players and people that I have met in GB and the support that they showed. You guys are awesome and thank you very much for being very cool with me. I want to thank Projectjustice (brother) in reminding me why I love this game so much. I want to thank Modinside (Primo) for teaching and how to improve my skills to great heights. Also I want to thank Justin for teaching me the way of the game. I want to thank Gootecks for his energy and passion for the game.

I will do my best and I will be where I feel I deserve to be; the very best.

6 - Radio Show –

This one has been rattling around my head for a bit and I have done my research of how I am able to make this happen. I know between the tourneys, t-shirts designs and custom stick making I won’t have time for this. I would like to have 2 -3 guys who would like to host their own show and have the content related to SF4 and SF4 only. I have a basic guideline how I would like to be ran (since Im funding everything) so I will be asking around who would like to host a radio show. I have a couple of people in mind but however this is open to everyone.

How the hell are you doing this Hyena one may ask and there is a simple answer to the simple question peoplez: DESIRE!!!!!!

SF4 FTW!!!!!!!!!

Working on my website and trying something new. So I poped up some Tshirt designs that I have been working on for the last couple of weeks (since I dont have a TV to rock SF4)

Anyways I was inspired by a buddy of mine who started to work on T-shirts and so Im giving it a try and see what happens. For now the designs that I have up are just for a test run type deal and hopefully itll go well.

Also theres a couple of things that I am going to be doing in the future and I am going to do my best to keep my blog updated.

Greetings gamers of the SF4 community.

In an attempt to further develop the Street Fighter 4 scene here in GB, we're trying to put together a census for GB/MLG to see what type of event GB/MLG/Ball Park could hold at MLG Columbus that would increase the turn out of gamers for SF4. MLG Meadowlands had an impressive turn out, as it was the most active booth of all booths in Meadowlands. The average numbers that the booth attractive per day was 200 plus gamers. This was based on a count I was conducting per 3 hours of the day. I know that I'm off because I was not at the booth throughout the entire day as I was walking around conducting business talks with other entities that were at MLG Meadowlands networking as well. Thus keep in mind that the number is lower than what it truly was for each day. The total amount of gamers that occupied the Ball Park booth for SF4 over the entire weekend was well over 600 player. Which is very impressive when considering that no one at MLG or GB told the SF4 community about their being a SF4 booth to begin with. Its a good thing that I let out some info at the last minute because it helped to get some people to go to MLG last minute.

What I need from you guys is your Gamer Tag, team name on the SF4 Singles ladder and your vote for "Yes" if you would come out to MLG Columbus for a Street Fighter 4 side tournament (Much like how they had for Gears 2 and Halo 3 2v2 or 1v1 event at Meadowlands). The format would be set where the community at large would compete and the winner of the tournament would receive his or her prize and then fight Justin Wong as the GB/MLG Ball park rep for a grand prize. (something like a secret character. i.e. Akuma) We have a month and a half to get this information to GB/MLG and Ball Park please support this as the number 1 thread on GB's SF4 it will play a very important role in this happening.
