Hey peoplez!

Well I am here wondering what will be my step (as soon as the move situation fizzles out) and trying to figure out in which direction I should direct my energy to. I have numerous ideas that are just stuck in my head and slowly putting down on paper and trying to figure things out. I was gonna make an announcement on the forums but at the same time I don’t want to be spurred because two of them has to do with gaining profit. So I am making the announcement on my blog (and hopefully that will be safe enough)

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1 – Getting into the swing of things with SF4 –

Since the move I am without a TV and was planning to buy a new by the end of June but since I am moving again and back to my old place again lol I will have a TV again. So I will be back on the saddle when it comes to playing for the tops spots. This time around things will be different; why you asked? At long last peoples I was able to find the one thing that will bring my skills to the next level; A STICK! I was able to discover one in the depths of a Gamestop in New York. I called them up and asked them to ship it to the Gamestop near me and voila, The Hyena has a stick. Hehehe. The couple of times I was playing with Mod and Justin I know that some of the things I wanted to do and couldn’t do because I didn’t have a stick.

The part I am excited most is that I can teach myself the basics again and really get my style down pack and improve on it. I have been taking crazy notes and saving even more vids of how to improve my gameplay. Now the mood has change and a new era will being. I CANNOT WAIT!

I want to thank Poem who was willing to get a stick for me (Hori) but the move just tapped out my pockets to pick one of those up. Once again Poem thanks dude.

2 – Gamebattles Staff Member -

Many of you already know (poll and all) that I have been trying to get a position as a site or forum Admin for a while now. For the simple reason why I want to become one is because I want to help out my fellow SFaints as much as I can. Even though I do that now without a title but with so little backing from the GB staff and the lack of power I can’t TRULY do what I want to do. I have soooooo many ideas that will help GB to become a bigger community and I want to make the SF community that I love better. Our community that I am a small part of is by far the BEST community that anyone can be part of. I just here waiting on the final word and see what will come out of this.

I want to thank Riyo, CombatQueen, GBColdblooded and Jsmoove27 for the support that they showed of helping me getting a position in GB. I truly hope that I can be part of the GB family.

3 – T-Shirt Designs –

I am taking a page out of Prof Rouse playbook (thanks for the inspiration dude) and I am designing SF4 (only) T-shirts. Since Im into the graphic thing (BA in graphic designs and side note* I think way too much lol) I just want to get something started that will benefit the community as a whole and as an entity.

So be sure and stop by and let me know what you guys think. Any feedback will be most greatly appreciated.

4 – Custom Sticks –

I always wanted to know what went into making one of these. So asking around, looking up information, checking out youtube vids, and really wrapping my head around this idea; I have decided that I will be making sticks. I mentioned before if I knew how to make a stick that I would make one and offer that as a prize for a tourney I would throw.

I already have two ideas in mind; one is gonna be a simple stick design and second one is going to be the stick of all sticks. You see what I mean when I get the woodwork done on it.

5 – Tournaments Journey -

I really excited about this one. This is the time that I will get into back of the tourney scene and become engulf with the SF competition. My goal is to go to the top echelon (and I know I can make it) I have the desire, the passion, the will and the drive to make it. Also I want to go back to EVO and I would like that to be my final stop on my journey. I hope that EVO won’t be the end of all of it but it will be a nice goal for me to accomplish.

I know what it takes to start this journey and I know how time consuming, energy draining and major sacrificing it will be. However I’ve done it before and now that I am older, I know I can do it again but smarter.

August 23 is the first stop to of my journey. There’s going to a Summer Battle Jam type tourney going on in Philly. So those who can make it Ill see you there and I look forward to meet up with some other great players.


I want to thank all the great players and people that I have met in GB and the support that they showed. You guys are awesome and thank you very much for being very cool with me. I want to thank Projectjustice (brother) in reminding me why I love this game so much. I want to thank Modinside (Primo) for teaching and how to improve my skills to great heights. Also I want to thank Justin for teaching me the way of the game. I want to thank Gootecks for his energy and passion for the game.

I will do my best and I will be where I feel I deserve to be; the very best.

6 - Radio Show –

This one has been rattling around my head for a bit and I have done my research of how I am able to make this happen. I know between the tourneys, t-shirts designs and custom stick making I won’t have time for this. I would like to have 2 -3 guys who would like to host their own show and have the content related to SF4 and SF4 only. I have a basic guideline how I would like to be ran (since Im funding everything) so I will be asking around who would like to host a radio show. I have a couple of people in mind but however this is open to everyone.

How the hell are you doing this Hyena one may ask and there is a simple answer to the simple question peoplez: DESIRE!!!!!!

SF4 FTW!!!!!!!!!

Working on my website and trying something new. So I poped up some Tshirt designs that I have been working on for the last couple of weeks (since I dont have a TV to rock SF4)

Anyways I was inspired by a buddy of mine who started to work on T-shirts and so Im giving it a try and see what happens. For now the designs that I have up are just for a test run type deal and hopefully itll go well.

Also theres a couple of things that I am going to be doing in the future and I am going to do my best to keep my blog updated.
